Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia for a UI/UX Developer. As a UI/UX Developer at Kecilin, your primary responsibility will be to create user-centered designs that align with our brand and users’ needs. Designing and developing engaging and intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with design teams, product managers, and engineers to develop intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Ensuring consistency of the user interface across platforms and devices. Additionally, you will conduct user research and incorporate feedback to continually improve our user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top university.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a UI/UX Developer, Front End Developer, or similar role.
- Proficient in design, prototype, and wireframing using tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
- Experience in implementing design into functional design code frontend (Mobile, Web, and Desktop).
- Proficient in frontend development skills using HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript or jQuery.
- Expert in slicing UI, making reusable components, and making website templates.
- Strong understanding of Interaction Design (such as Animation CSS/JS).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Good understanding of web technologies and the ability to implement designs into functional code effectively.
- Knowledge of responsive, adaptive design and mobile-first development.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to design and development challenges.
- Portfolio of previous UI/UX or frontend projects.
